The Prehistoric Past
Fossils are not just rocks. They are windows and gateways into the past that reveal to us the stories of creatures that existed long ago. They are the puzzle pieces that when put together create a picture of life throughout Earth's geological history. Explore the engaging exhibits with photographed specimens from the PaleoDiscover collection to time travel millions to billions of years into the past.
About Our Specimens
All of the fossil specimens displayed are from the personal collection of the PaleoDiscover Director and Head Curator, who has been collecting fossils since 2012. Our exhibits are each designed to focus on an interesting topic related to paleontology and geological history. You may notice specimens appearing in more than one exhibit, so have fun discovering and exploring the stories behind each!
